Introduction

Watoto Wetu Books project is part of Books donation program which tries to facilitate learning by providing books to vulnerable children as per intervention number four at early outcome level of pathway of change. This will contribute to learner readiness which is necessary input for ultimate outcome of brighter future for vulnerable children.

Problem statement

“Vulnerable children face challenges of accessing better education.”

By Vulnerable children we mean children who are orphans, victims of poverty, having disabilities and those suffering from emotional and physical abuse. And by better education we mean more desirable, satisfactory and effective education, as “there is always a room for improvement”.

Beneficiaries

Watoto Wetu Tanzania- an orphanage centre based on Goba, Dar es Salaam.

Number of Beneficiaries

There are about 52 children who need to benefit from books project.
